Media Advisory: Centre for Global Public Health Opens on Bannatyne Campus

Today the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Medicine is poised to officially open its innovative new Centre for Global Public Health, housed in the Department of Community Health Sciences and established in collaboration with the Department of Medical Microbiology.

Accompanying the opening will be an  announcement by University of Manitoba President and Vice-Chancellor David Barnard on a multi-year, multi-million dollar award by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to the Centre for Global Public Health for groundbreaking health research in a developing country.
