Dr. Michelle Gallant, Associate Dean (Research and Graduate Studies) in the Faculty of Law can speak to members of the media about Bill 35, introduced yesterday by Public Safety Minister Peter Van Loan, which will allow lawsuits to come against states Canada explicitly designates as facilitators of terrorism.

Dr. Gallant’s areas of teaching and research include taxation, dispute resolution, international law, money laundering, and terrorist finance. She has written extensively on the subject with her two recent books being Law and Legal Process in the Resolution of International Conflict, and Tax and Terrorism: A New Partnership?
