Introduction: Many sites provide access to current or archived opinion polls. Below is a selected list of these sites.

Winnipeg / Manitoba:

• CBC Poll of Winnipeg and Kansas City (on public concerns, values and beliefs about social issues and institutions.)
• City of Winnipeg: New Deal Survey
• City of Winnipeg: New Deal Follow-up Survey
• Prairie Research Associates (does many opinion polls in Winnipeg and Manitoba)
• Probe Research (does many opinion polls in Winnipeg and Manitoba, such as the Winnipeg Public Use Facilities Study).
• Winnipeg Police Service - Public Opinion Survey 2004

• Government of Canada Public Opinion Research Reports via Library and Archives Canaca.
• Listening to Canadians Communications survey Spring 2002 Communications Canada.
• Listening to Canadians Communications Survey Fall 2002
• Listening to Canadians: Canadian Information Office: listing of links to reports 2000-2003
• BBM Bureau of Measurement. (broadcast data). Limited free data,such as top tv programs in Vancouver, is available. Press releases also give some statistics, such as largest markets.

• Canadian Gallup Polls 1945-94 can be requested from Carleton University, for academic use. Paper copies of polls are kept in Dafoe Reference, call number FC 1 G34
• Canadian Opinion Research Archive (You must register to get full access to the Archive)
• Centre for Research and Information on Canada
• Compass Public Opinion and Customer Research (Canada)
• Environics Research Group. This site contains a wide variety of polling data. The archives gives summaries of "Focus Canada" and "Focus Ontario" polls back to 1997. They do some "online surveys", which could be a source of bias.
• Erin Research (download reports on the Citizens First and Kids Take on the Media surveys, etc.)
• Laurier Institute for the Study of Public Opinion and Policy
• POLLARA/Insight Canada Surveys. This site provides access to polls back to 1992 (polls are released one year after they are conducted), including Perspectives Canada, Ontario Perspectives and several special polls. Note that they are in SPSS portable format.

• Environics Research Group
• European Commission. European Public Opinion. These European public opinion surveys include the standard Eurobarometer reports back to 1996 plus several recent special reports on controversial topics, such as the safety of food, biotechnology, child sex tourism and racism. (html or pdf) There are also the Europinion surveys (1994-98) and the Central and Eastern Eurobarometer reports.
