Custodial history: The fonds was donated to University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections by Shelagh Lindsey in 1980.

Scope and content: The fonds consists of papers written by several different authors, publications, photocopies of articles, book reviews¸ newspaper clippings, class notes, transcripts of broadcasts and interviews, and Marshall McLuhan's Report to the U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare on Project in Understanding New Media.
