Biographical sketch: Alison Campbell Hermon was the niece of Dr. T.G. Hamilton, prolific documenter of the spiritualist movement in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Campbell Hermon is a University of Manitoba Home Economics graduate, class of 1945.
Custodial history: The fonds was donated to University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections by Alison Campbell Hermon in 2007 and 2009.
Scope and content: The fonds contains textual, photographic and digital records. The textual records include handwritten and typewritten correspondence relating to spiritualism between family members. The photographs are black and white and color images of members of the Campbell and Hamilton families. The digital records consist of one compact disc of scanned images of family members and another compact disc with scanned copies known as the Sylvia Barber seances (A.10-82). There are 32 physical photographs and 277 digital photographs comprising the photograph collection.
