Annotation:
This is v. 1 of the 1st ed. & the only one published while Greve was still in Germany which he hastily left in late July with a faked suicide. V.2-4 came out in 1910 with Reiss Publ. imprint. --
Though not numbered, it is one of thirty copies of the "Vorzugsausgabe" on Butten-paper described in the colophon (p.[458]):
"Dieses Buch druckten Imberg & Lefson, Berlin. Der Umschlag u. Innentitel stammen von Curt Tuch. 30 Ex. wurden als einmalige numerierte Vorzugsausgabe auf Buettenpapier gedruckt u. in Schweinsleder gebunden." --
