This translation by FPG (Greve/Grove) was found via the online ZVAB [Zentralverzeichnis lieferbarer Bucher]. It was acquired from the Buch- und Kunstantiquariat Heinz Tessin in Quickborn in March 2000.

Bound in midnight-blue calf-leather, with differnt couloured spine.

Spine label reads in embossed gold letters:
"Murger / Die Boheme." On inside of front cover, in black ink: Al Field / Weihnachten 1937, von Claire." --

Title page and plates by Byros are very ornate with italic texts in round cameos. --

Donated by Dr. Gaby Divay for the FPG (Greve/Grove) Endowment (unfortunately, the book arrived with a detour via the UM Bookstore who plastered an ugly white label on the back cover, reading: "Special Orders, $80.45." An attempt to remove this label damaged the otherwise fine leather binding). --
