The University of Manitoba Dramatic Society was established with the objective to develop dramatic talent among all students attached to the University. The Dramatic Society also strove to present at least one play annually in order to showcase student talent.

The collection, covering the years 1913-1914, contains the Constitution and the original membership and executive of the Dramatic Society.
