Extent: 7.6 m of textual records.

Administrative History: The Public Affairs department coordinates a wide range of communications, marketing and information services designed to enhance public
awareness of the University of Manitoba in the province, throughout Canada, and
internationally.

Custodial History: The fonds was donated to Archives & Special Collections through numerous accessions throughout the years.

Scope and Content: The many scrapbooks constituting this collection of newspaper clippings are from various newspapers from 1892 through 2001. The topics covered in the clippings relate to the history of the University of Manitoba primarily. Some years include articles on other academic institutions.

Restrictions: There are no restrictions on access to this material.
