This collection includes records from 1910 to 1980 dealing with each department within the Faculty. These include faculty and department accreditations, academic appointments, search committee files, curriculum development files, Faculty Council minutes and correspondence, student aid, scholarships and awards, as well as a substantial body of material documenting the activities of the Faculty of Medicine within the medical and scientific communities both in Manitoba and throughout Canada. There are also a substantial number of historical files which were created by the Dean's Office to document the careers of many of the Faculty's staff and alumni, as well as to document the history of the Faculty and the development of the medical profession within the province.
