In 1981 the former positions of Provost assisting the Vice-President (Academic) were redefined along functional lines. One provost position was given the responsibility for academic programs. This position was retitled as Associated Vice-President (Programs).

This collection (1984-1987) contains board minutes, correspondence, and reports related to the Churchill Northern Studies Centre.
