Title: WWII Recruitment Poster Collection

Dates: ca. 1939-1945

Extent: 1 poster

Historical Note: During the Second World War, the Canadian government issued posters intended to recruit young men to joined the Armed Services and fight in the war. This particular poster was issued for the Canadian Department of Defence by the Director of Public Information.

Custodial History: Steve & Kryna Van Leeuween donated the poster to the University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections in 2004.

Scope and Content: The fonds consists of one recruitment poster. The dimensions of the poster are 45.5 x 35.5 cm.

Restrictions: There are no restrictions on access to this material.

Accruals: No further accruals to this fonds are expected.
