Frederick Samuel Zaplitny was born in Manitoba and raised in
Dauphin. He was elected to the House of Commons in 1945, 1953, and
again in 1957. He was defeated in the election of 1958. Zaplitny
served with the Canadian delegation to the United Nations in New
York, 1957.
This small collection contains verse, political and biographical
memorabilia, and newsclippings.
