Biographical Sketch: William Grannis Parmelee was born in 1833 and lived in southern Ontario.

Scope and Content: The fonds consists of press clippings glued over pages of a bound volume of "Sessional Papers for 1863". It includes newspaper clippings regarding Canadian politics and government from The Daily Globe, Ottawa Citizen, Free Press, The Gazette, The Toronto Mail, Irish Canadian, The Ottawa Times, The Brockville Monitor, The Patriot, Daily Witness, and Merrickville Chronicle. The clippings are not arranged in any apparent order.
