MSS SC 133A

Title: Ines Papendieck fonds

Dates: 1998

Extent: 0.5 cm of textual records

Biographical Sketch: Ines Papendieck received her M.A. from the University of Trier, Trier, Germany, in 1998. Her thesis was entitled "Speaking in Tongues: Formen der Kommunikation in Carol Shields' The Stone Diaries." She presented a paper entitled "Gender and Labour in Carol Shield's Stone Diaries" at the University of Manitoba in September 1998.

Custodial History: Ms. Papendieck's paper on Carol Shield's The Stone Diaries was received by Gaby Divay, University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections, in September 1998. Fonds was originally stored as MSS SC 133 before being designated as its own fonds MSS SC 133A.

Scope and Content: The fonds consists of a paper entitled "Gender and Labour in Carol Shield's The Stone Diaries." The paper was presented at the 1998 University of Manitoba & Universitat Trier Partnership Conference, September 22-24 in Winnipeg. It also includes a post-it note to Gaby Divay, in German, dated September 23, 1998.
