Biographical Sketch: David Golden attended the University of Manitoba, graduating from the Faculty of Law in 1941. He was awarded an honourary Doctor of Laws Degree from the University of Manitoba in 1986 at the 107th Convocation Ceremonies. He delivered a speech at the ceremonies.

Custodial History: The fonds was donated to the Archives & Special Collections by Bob Raeburn in 1989.

Scope and Content: The fonds consists of the speech delivered by David Golden at the 1986 Convocation Ceremonies.
