Biographical sketch: Donald Coubrough was born in July 1934 in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. He has been a grain farmer in Portage la Prairie his entire life and served with the Agricultural Fair Board as second Vice-President and Vice-President before serving as President from 1998 to 2000. He became a life member of the Agricultural Fair Board in 2002 when he retired. Donald's son Kevin was born on September 22, 1963. He is farming grain on the family farm in Portage la Prairie. He obtained an Agricultural Diploma from the University of Manitoba in 1983.

Custodial history: The fonds was donated to University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections by Kevin Coubrough in January 1997.

Scope and content: The fonds consists of Canadian Wheat Board Permit Books. These were issued to grain producers Donald and Kevin Coubrough, and identified as landlords Mrs. Merle Bailey and John Crosland. The permit books for Donald Coubrough cover the years 1954 through 1995 while those for Kevin Coubrough cover the years 1982 through 1995.
