Biographical sketch: Francis Anderson obtained
a Diploma in Agriculture from the University of Manitoba in 1939.
In 1947, he obtained a Veterans Loan and started farming. Because
he was concerned with chemicalization in agriculture, he phased
out the use of chemicals in 1967/1968. He lived in Lowe Farm, Manitoba
with his wife Rebecca and his children.
Custodial history: The fonds was donated to University
of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections by Francis Anderson
in 1995.
