Title: Shelagh Lindsey fonds

Dates: 1960-1971

Extent: 30 cm of textual records

Biographical Sketch: Shelagh Lindsey was a former member of the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Manitoba. Mrs. Lindsey was a close friend and former student of Marshall McLuhan.

Custodial History: Shelagh Lindsey donated the contents of the fonds to the University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections in 1980.

Scope and Content: The fonds consists of papers written by several different authors, publications, photocopies of articles, book reviews¸ newspaper clippings, class notes, transcripts of broadcasts and interviews, and McLuhan's Report to the U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare on Project in Understanding New Media.
