Historical Note: The Eighth Annual Manitoba History Conference was held 12 May 1995. It was held at the Museum of Man and Nature and was co-sponsored by the University of Manitoba History Department, the Manitoba Historical Society, the Museum of Man and Nature, the University of Manitoba Alumni, and the Dr. Paul H.T. Thorlakson Archival Fund. The theme of the conference celebrated Manitoba's 125th anniversary. Sessions included Aboriginal Issues, nineteenth and twentieth century Manitoba History, Manitoba Labour History, Manitoba Women's History, and Law and Disorder in Manitoba.
