Getting Permanent Links for items from One Stop Search/Catalogue
For a physical item held in the Libraries:

Search One Stop Search or the Catalogue as you normally would. When you locate the item you are interested in, click the Details link (as shown in the image below):

Right click on the PermaLink to this record link as shown below:

Click on Copy link address. You now have the PermaLink available in your clipboard to be copied wherever it is needed.


There are two ways to get a link for an online resource:

1) Search One Stop Search or the Catalogue as you normally would. When you locate the item you are interested in, click the GetIt@UML link and then Send to (as shown in the image below):

Enter your email address in the new window in the appropriate box:

Open your email, and find the message sent with the subject line above and open it. Right click on the title of the article you want (as highlighted below):

Click on Copy link address. You now have the PermaLink available in your clipboard to be copied wherever it is needed.
