These electronic texts with illustrative images of Grove's
novels A Search for America (1927) & Jane Atkinson (ca.
1925) are copyrighted and owned by the University of Manitoba Archives
& Special Collection, unless otherwise noted. Free copying for personal
or educational purposes, as noted below, is permitted.
Grove's published texts have entered the public domain in 1998. Most of
the unpublished manuscripts held in the Archives were acquired the University
of Manitoba from Grove's widow in the early 1960s, along with explicit
copyright provisions. In addition, the University of Manitoba Archives
were given written approval to make the typescript of Grove's unpublished
Jane Atkinson electronically accessible in 1999.
Every attempt has been made to clear copyright for illustrative materials where clearance was not expressly stated. We ask researchers to contact us immediately with any concerns or noted omissions.
The texts and images are available for research purposes only and the University of Manitoba Libraries and Archives & Special Collections require clear and proper citation on all those materials, including images, which are used or adapted.
