International Centre Exchange Program Students: Students coming to the U of M through the IC Exchange Program pay tuition to their home universities and not to the U of M. However, all Exchange students will be required to pay the following fees to the U of M: University of Manitoba Students' Union (UMSU) fees and field trip fees, if applicable. Health insurance fees will vary according to the length of study and the health insurance options chosen.
The following is an estimate of costs, in Canadian dollars, for a single student living in Winnipeg at a very modest level for one calendar year (12 months). Actual living expenses will vary depending on your life-style and could be higher than what is estimated below.

An additional $4,000 should be added for a spouse and an additional $3,000 for each dependent to cover 12 months of living expenses.
