Return to Alkaline Rocks Large raspberry-red crystals of eudialyte in nepheline-syenitic pegmatite (Kipawa, Québec). Eudialyte is a Na-Ca-(Mn,Fe)-Zr silicate quite typical of agpaitic alkaline rocks. This 30-cm large specimen is from the collection of the Ferguson Museum of Mineralogy.
