The High School Science Teachers Workshop is an annual event hosted by the Chemistry Department that brings high school science teachers to the University of Manitoba for a day of experiments and lectures provided by instructors and professors in the Department. It provides them an opportunity learn about exciting new areas of research that may be of interest to themselves and their students, and they participate in simplified hands on experiments that they can take to their schools.
