Graduate Scholarships Available
In addition to the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council Postgraduate Scholarships (NSERC PGS A and PGS B) and the University based University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowships (UMGFs), the Chemistry Department has several department based graduate fellowships/scholarships.

Hugh J. Anderson Graduate Award in Chemistry

Up to three awards annually to students of high academic standing (min. GPA 3.5) in any area of graduate study within the Department of Chemistry.

R.H. Betts Graduate Award in Chemistry

Up to three awards annually to students of high academic standing (min. GPA 3.5) in any area of graduate study within the Department of Chemistry.

Ernst and Ingrid Bock Graduate Award in Chemistry

Up to three awards annually to students of high academic standing (min. GPA 3.5) in any area of graduate study within the Department of Chemistry.

Chemistry Graduate Students Association Scholarship

Two awards of $150 each. All students in their first year of graduate studies are eligible to apply. Application forms are available from the CGSA.
