This is the webpage for my final project. I gathered data of NGC1961 at the Glenlea Astronomical Observatory near Winnipeg, MB. I reduced this data to create a basic image and then learned how to use ImageJ and GIMP to manipulate the data and compared it to data from other telescopes. I also did research on the possible minor-merger of NGC1961 and compared this galaxy to others of its type. On the left you will find links to all of the components of this project. |
