PARARESCURE IN CANADA

Canadians are fortunate to be served by highly trained Search and Rescue Technicians "SAR Techs" who find, treat and rescue those who are lost in the Wilderness.

Dr. Giesbrecht was privileged to attend a joint training expedition with a group of three SAR Techs at Canadian Forces Station Alert on the north end of Ellesmere Island. This group would eventually like to attempt to ski to the North Pole.
