24 - Mike Kelly, a third year receiver from Chiiliwack, BC had a
great night on Saturday in his home province as he caught 10 passes
for 188 yards and 2 TDS to lead #2 ranked Manitoba to their biggest
and by far most dominant victory of the season – a 47-7 win over
SFU. The 6’3” 200-lb slotback was named Canada West Offensive Player
of the Week now has 24 receptions for 351 yards and 5 TDS through
4 games.

Free Safety, Kicker, and Punter Jamie Boreham was named Canada West
Special Teams Player of the Week for an incredible fourth straight
week. Boreham accounted for 17 of Manitoba’s 47 points in Saturday’s
47-7 victory over SFU. Boreham leads Canada West with 51 points
and also leads Canada West in punting average with a 45.4 yard average.
With an average of 12.75 points per game, Boreham is almost back
on pace to break his team record of 114 points set last season.
