Congratulations on your provisional admission to the College of Nursing at the University of Manitoba! Transitioning into the nursing program requires the completion of a number of important steps. Your admission is conditional on our receipt and your clearance of the Non-Academic Admission Requirements by July 15th (fall intake) or November 15th (winter intake). Your admission may be revoked if you do not meet the requirements by this deadline.
Included with this letter is a link to a number of documents that require your immediate attention. Please read all of the linked documents, and follow instructions carefully.
A checklist is provided below to help ensure you have submitted the required documents.
The following documents are due as soon as possible upon admission, but no later than July 15/November 15:
Non-Academic Admission Requirements: Due July 15 (fall intake) / November 15 (winter intake)
Please submit as soon as these are complete – do not wait until the deadline. Details can be found in the Non-Academic Admission Requirements Handbook.

Requirements can also be dropped off in person to Room 262 Helen Glass, or the College of Nursing reception desk.
If you are submitting your documents by mail, it is recommended that you send them by registered mail or courier so that documents can be tracked.
A copy of your New Student Guide will be coming soon and will be found on our website. Please read the guide carefully.
Students will be assigned to a specific timetable and will only have permission to register in the timetable to which they have been assigned. Preference will be given to full-time students, and space might be limited for students attending part-time. Students who may require special consideration regarding their timetable (eg: students registered with Student Accessibility Services or Bison Athletes) must contact us immediately upon admission. Once cohorts have been assigned, they cannot be changed.
Your timetable assignment will be sent to you by e-mail prior to registration.
Mandatory Orientation Sessions
All students admitted to the College of Nursing are required to attend a MANDATORY New Student Orientation on January 3rd and 4th, 2019. More information is included in the New Student Guide, which will be posted on our website soon.
If you wish to book an appointment with a Nursing Student Advisor, please call 204-474-7452.
We look forward to meeting you at New Student Orientation!
