Completing the Statement of Intent
When you apply to the Administration, Clinical, or Education stream of the Master of Nursing program, there is one section of the application that you will be unable to complete by the November 1st deadline: the section of the statement of intent in which applicants indicate the rationale for the selection of the academic advisor.

Refer to admission requirement #8, Statement of Intent, at the following link: umanitoba.ca/faculties/nursing/prospective/grad/academic_foci.html

You will complete this section later, following the initial screening of your application, referral to potential academic advisors, and acceptance by an academic advisor. Submission of this section is due March 1st.

Obtaining an Academic Advisor
If you meet the program requirements, we will assist you with finding an academic advisor. See link to previous Academic Advisor section for further information on obtaining an academic advisor.
