MCNHR Research Seminar Series, Professional Development Sessions & Workshops
The MCNHR hosts Research Seminar Series which provides a forum for MCNHR members to share findings of recently completed research evaluation and quality improvement projects. These seminars are broadcasted across Manitoba academic and clinical sites using videoconferencing technology offered through the College of Nursing and Manitoba Telehealth. The MCNHR also organizes Professional Development sessions and workshops to build research capacity. These sessions and workshops include topics such as advanced literature searching, online surveys, using SPSS for quantitative data analysis, and grant writing.

Navigating The Authorship Maze
Facilitators: Nicole Harder, Assistant Professor, College of Nursing; Lisa Demczuk, Associate Librarian, Elizabeth Dafoe Library
Authorship as part of a team can sometimes come with challenges and uncertainties. This session will provide an overview of current ethical guidelines and principles related to authorship. We will also discuss authorship issues such as ghost and guest authorship. The perspective of a journal editor will be provided, along with tips and strategies for a successful authorship experience.
