MCNHR Research Seminar Series, Professional Development Sessions & Workshops

The MCNHR hosts Research Seminar Series which provides a forum for MCNHR members to share findings of recently completed research evaluation and quality improvement projects. These seminars are broadcasted across Manitoba academic and clinical sites using videoconferencing technology offered through the College of Nursing and Manitoba Telehealth.  The MCNHR also organizes Professional Development sessions and workshops to build research capacity. These sessions and workshops include topics such as advanced literature searching, online surveys, using SPSS for quantitative data analysis, and grant writing.

Selecting Measures for Your Research Success

In these 2 hour working sessions, the most important metrics of measuring research success will be described including a description and demonstration of how to discover them.  The focus will be on providing participants with plenty of assistance in exploring their own metrics to find the measures that best represent their personal record of achievements.
