The University of Manitoba Opera Theatre will be presenting Angela and Her Sisters for schools, grades K to 8 from May 13 to May 17, 2019, in the Vocal Ensemble Room of the Faculty of Music.
Story: Inspired by the Italian fairy tale Giricoccola, the opera tells the story of a sweet girl who is wickedly teased by her stepsisters. She is eventually rescued by the Moon, but finds her new home no better than the first. Finally her search leads her to a lonely princess who becomes a true friend.

Length: 45 minutes plus a 10 minute Q & A session with the performers
Cost: $262.50 (includes GST) per performance
Book your performance by April 5 and the ticket cost will be reduced by 50% of your bussing cost.
Performers include singers Karen Santos, Katrina Tamagi, Jacqueline Arthur and Jennifer Turner and pianists Megan Dufrat and Deena Grier.
