Eva Clare Hall is an acoustic chamber music hall that seats 225 audience members on 2 levels.

The hall is equipped with 2 grand pianos:

• a 7'6"  Kawai RX7 (purchased new in April 2007)
• a 7'6" Yamaha C7 (purchased new in April 2007)

Eva Clare Hall is also home to a 1967 two-manual Casavant Frères pipe organ and an Italian harpsichord.  Controllable stage and house lighting is available.  The hall is named after the Manitoba-born pianist and teacher Eva Clare, who served as director of the University of Manitoba School of Music from 1937-1949, and was named Director Emeritus upon her retirement.

All bookings must now be paid in full in advance of your event.  Requested dates are only held once payment has been received.

The booking fee includes the use of one grand piano which will be on stage for you (we are unable to accept requests for a specific piano).  Arrangements for a second piano can be made upon request at no additional charge.  A separate piano tuning can be requested for your event.  It will be billed at the above rate and arrangements for our official technicians will be made directly by the Faculty of Music office.
