Welcome to the Section of Research at the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences
Welcome to the Section of Research at the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Manitoba. Our mission is to nurture and promote basic and clinical research at the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology with the purpose of acquiring new knowledge in the discipline and promote improvements in the delivery of Women’s health in and outside of Manitoba.
There many research-related activities in our department ranging from teaching research methods (with Drs. Lisa Avery and Shayne Taback), assisting residents and faculty members with their journal clubs, grant application, ethics application, abstracts, and manuscript for publication, to research project collaborations. As we have more members in my group, we will be able to contribute more to the research projects in our department.
We encourage you to contact us at the beginning of your research and we can assist with the following:
