1.  Understand the relevance of the burden of disease of ovarian cancer.
2.  Discuss how identification of precursor lesions may aid in prevention or screening of ovarian cancer.
3.  Understand the association between precursor lesions in the fallopian tube and ovarian cancer in the BRCA-positive population.
4.  Discuss the evidence for prophylactic salpingo-oophorectomy in the BRCA-positive population and extrapolate this to women without a genetic predisposition for ovarian cancer
