These prerequisite courses will provide applicants with important background knowledge for the occupational therapy program. There are many other courses that will add to your background knowledge. Students in the occupational therapy program have shared that courses related to human development (child, adolescent, adult), health studies, kinesiology, and higher level behavioural and social sciences have been especially helpful in preparing them for the occupational therapy program. Courses that emphasize academic writing will also be of benefit.
