Through the entry-level programs, the School of Medical Rehabilitation seeks to develop competent rehabilitation practitioners who practice as generalists in their respective professions, who become leaders in responding to society's health care needs, and who view knowledge as the foundation of practice and enquiry.
Through the M.Sc. (Rehabilitation) program, the School of Medical Rehabilitation seeks to develop competent rehabilitation researchers who apply research skills to critical evaluation of clinical and basic rehabilitation concepts, who become leaders in research, teaching and clinical practice, and who use the research training to improve the quality of rehabilitation services available to the community.
The School of Medical Rehabilitation is committed to providing leadership in the creation and dissemination of knowledge in the art and science of rehabilitation and health care through research and scholarly activities.
SERVICE
The School of Medical Rehabilitation, through consultation and service to health care personnel, governments, and agencies, is committed to enhancing the quality of health care in Manitoba, Canada, and the International community.
