Biography:
Robert Tate has undergraduate and Master's level training in Mathematics and Statistics and received his Ph.D. degree in Community Health Sciences from the University of Manitoba in 2000. Prior to 2000, he worked for many years as a consultant in the Biostatisical Consulting Unit in the department. Dr. Tate is currently a Professor and Director of the Manitoba Follow-up Study (http://www.mfus.ca/). He has co-authored over one hundred peer reviewed papers in areas of cardiovascular epidemiology, environmental, occupational and international (Cuba) health, health services research and epidemoiology of aging.
