Otolaryngology

Otolaryngology

Objectives:
To allow both medical students and residents of other specialties to obtain exposure to Otolaryngology, and Head and Neck Surgery. Students will be exposed to both medical (clinical) and surgical aspects. Electives can be tailored based on the student's objectives. Specifically, students entertaining a career in Otolaryngology may want a broad exposure to clinics and the OR, whereas residents of subspecialties may wish a more clinical/office type rotation.

Content:
Students will rotate through Health Sciences Centre (General Hospital and Children's) and St. Boniface General Hospital. They will attend clinics in both hospitals, as well as some private offices.

Availability: Subject to availability and time of year.
