Responsible for:

  • Managing the Associate Dean’s schedule, including booking all appointments for the Associate Dean.
  • Event planning for PGME New Resident Orientation, Resident Research Day and other special events. 
  • Maintains Program Directors listing, updates as new information is provided and notifies the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
  • PGME verification of training requests.
  • Processes approved travel claims forms for residents and program directors.
  • Website content and updates.

  • Distribution of VISA resident applications
  • Immigration documentation required for incoming/accepted VISA residents
  • VISA resident sponsor evaluations, contact for all VISA resident matters

  • Annual University of Manitoba registration for new/renewing PGME residents/fellows
  • Registration for mandatory courses (i.e. Biostats I/II, Epidemiology).
