- International Medical Graduate Assessment for Conditional Licensure (IMGACL)
- The IMGACL is a 3-month assessment for family medicine physicians
- IMGs should be able to practice independently by Canadian standards
- This is an accelerated route to licensure as a family physician in rural Manitoba
- Successful candidates begin practicing independently after the assessment
- Physicians are provided with support via the Mentorship program

- International Medical Graduate Mentorship and Clinical Enhancement (IMGMCE)
- The IMGMCE is a mandatory mentorship for physicians who have successfully completed the IMGACL
- The IMGMCE is an on-site in-practice formative mentorship program
- Facilitates practice-based improvement to existing skills or gain new skills
- IMGMCE is now part of Continuing Medical Education (CME)
- Medical Licensure Program for International Medical Graduates (MLPIMG)
- The MLPIMG is a 1-year training program for family medicine physicians
- MLPIMG enhances IMGs’ previous training
- Is equivalent to PGY1
- Involves a full year of rotations in hospital and clinics
- Successful MLPIMG physicians will practice family medicine independently in rural regions

- Non-Registered Specialist Assessment Program (NRSAP)
- The NRSAP is an assessment program for Specialist Physicians
- Length of the assessment depends on the area of specialty (3-12 months)
- The IMG Program organizes and facilitates the clinical assessments
- Successful specialist physicians will begin practice after the assessment

- International Medical Graduate Orientation Program (Orientation)
- Orientation is 4-weeks long
- Orientation is compulsory for IMGs accepted into a residency, training, or assessment program in Manitoba
- Must be accepted into a program (MLPIMG, IMGACL, Residency) to attend orientation
- Designed to facilitate integration into the Canadian Health Care System and improve clinical practice
