1. Is it possible to transfer into the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Manitoba?

The Transfer Policy states the following:

• Only Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada can be considered for a transfer position.
• Only students attending LCME accredited schools (Canadian or American medical schools) will be considered for transfer.
• Consideration of transfer students is limited to compelling personal circumstances.
• Transfer is only possible where a position exists due to attrition in the Class.

2.  Does the program accept International students?

The International Policy for MD Program states the following:

• The University of Manitoba Faculty of Medicine restricts enrolment in the MD program to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada.  No applications are accepted from international students.
