Application (Please ensure you read and understand the Applicant Information Bulletin prior to completing the Application and Supplemental Application)
  • The Application for 2012 - 2013 is now closed.  
  • Deadlines are strictly observed.  A failure to meet the application deadline or to follow the application instructions will result in disqualification of your application.
  • After the October 7, 2011 deadline, changes to your application will not be accepted (including changing names of references).

Applicant Information Bulletin

This is the official policy and procedure document for the Admissions Office.  The Admissions Committee reserves the right to change the information contained in the Applicant Information Bulletin.  The Bulletin is reviewed annually.

Tips For Your Application:

  • Two (2) copies of your transcripts are required from all post-secondary institutes you have attended.  These must be received by the published deadline in the Applicant Information Bulletin or your application will be considered incomplete and not considered.
  • Referees -- choose wisely!  It is advisable that you choose referees that have known you for a minimum of two years.  You are only required to provide the names and contact information of 3 referees on your Supplemental Application Form and you are not to submit the letters with your application.  The letters will be requested at a later date.  Changes to your application are not accepted after your application has been submitted to our office, including changes of referees.
  • MCAT Scores -- Must be released to the University of Manitoba as soon as they are available or the score may not be used.
  • AGPA Calculation -- All completed undergraduate coursework as of the published deadline date will be used in the calculation of your pre-interview AGPA.  Current courses will be included after the courses are complete.
  • Biochemistry Pre-requisite -- Ensure your courses meet the University of Manitoba standards.  The acceptable course combinations can be found at:  Acceptable Biochemistry Course Combinations No other course combinations will be accepted.
