Housing
Housing and Student Life lists most of the on-campus and off-campus housing opportunities available for the students of the University of Manitoba.

Students who wish to live on-campus can now apply online and make payments for on-campus housing.

Due to limited availability, students are strongly recommended to apply for housing as soon as they are nominated to the Asper School of Business. It is not necessary to wait to be accepted to apply for housing.

Health Insurance

Health insurance is compulsory for all incoming exchange students to the University of Manitoba.

Effective September 1, 2018, international students/exchange students studying at the University of Manitoba who hold a valid Canadian study permit will no longer be eligible for health coverage under the Province of Manitoba.

Students may purchase health and dental insurance through the University of Manitoba Student's Union (UMSU), or they may purchase insurance from their home school, or a private insurer, as long as they have adequate coverage for the duration of their exchange.

Further information on the change in Province of Manitoba health insurance for international students can be found here.
