Your U of M fees will consist of the items listed below. Fees are payable to the Cashier's Office within the first two weeks of classes. Credit cards can not be used to pay for any fees at the University of Manitoba.

**NEW INFORMATION**

Effective Fall 2012, international students who hold a valid Canadian study permit are eligible to apply for a Manitoba Health Card free of charge. The Manitoba Health card covers primary care needs. For details of the coverage, please visit the Province of Manitoba health website.

Students may also purchase supplemental health and dental insurance through the University of Manitoba Student's Union (UMSU) for coverage outside of the Manitoba Health Card.

On average, exchange students will pay $10 CDN per course that is added to their academic program in the Asper School in addition to student union fees and Asper school award fee. The total amount estimated for a 12 credit hour course load (4 courses) is approximately $70 per term. There are no exceptions to these fees, and they cannot be waived for exchange participants.
