What was your best memory/experience at the Asper School of Business?
I don’t think I can limit my memories or experience in the Asper School of Business to just one. While obtaining my degrees, I was able to work alongside some amazing professors who have a considerable wealth of knowledge that they are more than happy to share; meet other students with similar interests, aspirations, and goals as myself; and participate in numerous activities offered by the school.
What is your best memory of your ABEP experience?
Having the opportunity to meet some amazing individuals (employees and fellow students) within the ABEP community. And, of course, the ABEP graduation ceremony.
If you could give on piece of advice to your first year university self, what would it be?
Take advantage of as many opportunities as a presented to you – the speakers, various assistance programs, social functions, etc. They all provide great opportunity to be able to gain valuable experience from individuals within industry, network with fellow students and prospective employers, and just have a good time!
What was the most significant barrier that you have had to overcome in your education experience?
I think it would be trying to find the appropriate balance between my education, personal life, and working. It’s hard to sometimes know what should be a priority, but in the end, I figured out that the more time and effort I put into my education, the more valuable information I gained that I could apply to both my work and everyday life.
