International Experience

  • My World Abroad - Provides valuable advice and commentary on every aspect of going abroad, along with about 4,000 searchable resources, 300 expert articles and inspiring student stories.
  • University of Manitoba, International Centre for Students - Offers programs and services to help international students before and after their arrival to ease their transition to Canada and ensure their experience is enjoyable, safe, and successful. The International Centre also provides programs and resources for internationally-minded students looking for opportunities both inside and outside of Canada.
  • Asper School of Business International Exchange Program - Gain invaluable international education experience at world-class universities, while paying Canadian fees. 
  • University of Manitoba International Exchange Program- The UoM student exchange program gives you the chance to see the world while committing to finishing your studies.
  • The Arni C. Thorsteinson Study Exchange Program - The Arni Thorsteinson Study Exchange Program allows Asper students to participate in an academic and cultural exchange with the Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel.
  • The Canada-Japan Co-op Program - A university/college based, international co-op/internship program offering students the chance to integrate their Canadian academic studies with valuable work experience in a Japanese companies. 
  • AIMS - The Association of International Management Students (AIMS) is an integrative student-led organization for international exchange students and Canadian students to come together.
  • AIESEC - Association of International, Economics, Science and Commerce Students. Provides local, on-campus, and international volunteer and internship opportunities.  
  • International Experience Canada- International Experience Canada (IEC) offers the opportunity for residents between the ages of 18 and 35 to gain valuable work experience while travelling abroad.  
  • Working in Canada; A Guide for International Students - A guideline prepared by CDC Asper, to prepare international students for work in Canada.    
  • Advanced Cooperative &Work-Integrated Education (WACE CWIE) - Opportunities in cooperative education, internships, semester in industry, international co-op exchanges, study abroad, research, clinical rotations, service learning and community service.
  • Mitacs Globalink - 2017 International Internship Opportunities for University of Manitoba Students. Mitacs is a national, not-for-profit organization that has designed and delivered research and training programs in Canada for 15 years. The University of Manitoba is one of 60 member universities working with Mitacs, providing funding to build partnerships that support industrial and social innovation in Canada.
