CAREER DEVELOPMENT CENTRE STAFF

	Kelly Mahoney Kelly works with her team to provide career management and job search support to BComm (Hons) and MBA students and alumni of the Asper School of Business. She brings more than 15 years’ leadership experience in human resources and operations management in the consulting, telecommunications, retail and publishing sectors. Kelly has worked with many of Manitoba’s leading private and public organizations in career management, training and development and recruitment. Kelly is committed to assisting students and alumni in exploring career opportunities and harnessing their potential to reach their career goals. Kelly is actively involved officiating triathlon at an international level. Kelly is a member of the Human Resource Association of Manitoba and the Young Associates, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Certified Management Accountants of Manitoba.

	Tasha Ellis Tasha works with both co-op employers and co-op students: She is responsible for facilitating the successful recruitment of students by co-op employers; she coaches co-op students in all aspects of their career and professional development. Tasha has worked in management and human resources for many of the last eight years, providing career counseling/transition, recruitment advice and general support to students. Tasha is a graduate with distinction from the Asper School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in human resources and marketing.

	Courtney Griffith Courtney works with both co-op employers and co-op students: She is responsible for facilitating the successful recruitment of students by co-op employers; and she coaches co-op students in all aspects of their career and professional development. Courtney has a wide range of career counseling experience working with individuals from a diversity of backgrounds, including extensive experience advising newcomers to Canada. Courtney is heavily involved in coaching and playing volleyball at the elite level. Courtney is a graduate of the Asper School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree majoring in Human Resource Management.

	Jill Latschislaw Jill’s primary focus is working with students to prepare them for successful entry into the job market, and guiding employers to develop and implement effective on-campus recruitment strategies and events. She works one-on-one with international students to assist them with their specific career needs. Jill is a Human Resource professional with more than 10 years’ experience in the private and public sectors. She has experience in career transition, including resume and cover letter assessment, career strategies and workshop delivery. Jill's positive attitude and creativity allow her to develop strong relationships with students and employers. Jill coordinates the successful Asper Peer Coaches program helping them develop their career management skills and confidence to support their student peers. Jill holds a Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Manitoba and is working towards a Diploma in Labour and Workplace Studies.

	Kathy Kirkpatrick Kathy has over 10 years experience providing guidance to employers and career advice to undergraduate students. Kathy assists employers with on-campus recruitment strategies as well as organizing special events to promote our students and raise awareness of career opportunities. Having completed her Certificate in Human Resource Management, Kathy has a thorough knowledge of recruitment and assists students with editing resumes and cover letters, developing interview confidence and accessing employment in the hidden job market. Kathy’s previous experience includes an accounting position with a successful entrepreneurial business. Community involvement is important to Kathy: she has held active roles as Treasurer for Stride Ahead Tough Track, Team Manager for South End United Soccer and Co-chair for Parent Advisory Councils.
