Information Regarding Course Changes Effective September 2011

• Effective Fall 2011 term, the following course will have a prerequisite:

GMGT 2070 Introduction to Organizational Behaviour (3 credit hours)
Prerequisite: GMGT 1010 Business and Society (3 credit hours) – new course*

*NOTE:  Students admitted prior to September 2011 are NOT required to take GMGT 1010 as a prerequisite.

• Effective Fall 2011 term, the following 3 courses will no longer be offered under the current course title and number. If you still need to take these 3 courses in Fall 2011 term or thereafter, you must register for them under the new course title and number:

i)
OLD (Prior to Fall 2011): GMGT 2000   Introduction to Communication  (3 credit hours)
NEW (Effective Fall 2011): GMGT 2010 Business Communications (3 credit hours)
Prerequisite: None

ii)
OLD (Prior to Fall 2011): GMGT 2080 Introduction to Management and Organization Theory (3 credit hours)
NEW (Effective Fall 2011):  : GMGT 2060 Management and Organizational Theory (3 credit hours)
Prerequisite: GMGT 1010 Business and Society (3 credit hours) – new course*

*NOTE:  Students admitted prior to September 2011 are NOT required to take GMGT 1010 as a prerequisite.

iii)
OLD (Prior to Fall 2011): OPM 2600 Fundamentals of Production and Operations Management (3 credit hours)
NEW (Effective Fall 2011):  : SCM 2160 Supply Chain and Operations Management (3 credit hours)
Prerequisite: None
